@evgandr@mastodon.bsd.cafe good job! I used to have a job doing tech support for asterisk and you have done better than 90% of Digium customers in 2013.

@shapr@recurse.social @evgandr@mastodon.bsd.cafe 🤣 I tried to set up Asterisk at home. I even bought an FXO/FXS card with a noise cancelling board so I could use my analog phone lines. I spent hours and hours trying to get it to work. I think it didn't help that I'm in the UK and a lot of the instructions were for the US telephone system. In the end I gave up, and was pissed off at myself that I spent nearly £400 on hardware that had no useful instructions for a UK setup. 😡
