@cavyherd@wandering.shop I usually charge mine once a week. With the 2A charger it only takes a few hours.
I've done bench tests to see how long they last running continuously. They are very bright for the first 6-8 hours and then slowly dim over the next 24-48 hours. Something about the COB LEDs means they can keep on going when SMD LEDs in series with a resistor give up sooner.

(But it also means I need to drop by the hardware store & get an extension cord to deploy near my bike's parking space ) Ideal case for me: Get home, park bike, plug in charging & forget about it. Unplug to ride. Given that I typically ride once a week these days (WFH FTW!), is that overdoing it? Should I add a step to make sure it gets UNplugged later that day?) IIRC you said it holds a charge for quite a while unused?
