@cavyherd@wandering.shop I am very familiar with spiraling "what ifs?" There's a reason it took me two years to go from coming up with the idea for these, to making a kit for myself, to trying to sell them. 🙃

@yantor3d@mas.to I'm impressed it was only two years. I've been trying to solve my current bike-light problem for, uh, well. Let's just say [much longer than two years] and leave it at that. Last iteration was a rim-mounted magnetic dynamo Kickstarter which worked, but turned out to be mechanically fragile 😢. I hate hate HATE the lights I have now that have to be taken off whenever I park, bc I'm 100% confident they'll go walkies if left on the bike for any length of time.
