I'm impressed it was only two years. I've been trying to solve my current bike-light problem for, uh, well. Let's just say [much longer than two years] and leave it at that.
Last iteration was a rim-mounted magnetic dynamo Kickstarter which worked, but turned out to be mechanically fragile ๐ข. I hate hate HATE the lights I have now that have to be taken off whenever I park, bc I'm 100% confident they'll go walkies if left on the bike for any length of time.

@cavyherd@wandering.shop 3D printing and hyperfocus are a dangerous combination ๐ These lights mount to spokes with four screws each, so they can wander off, but no more so than any other part on your bike... But they're much more secure than lights held on by a rubber strap. They'll even stay put during a bone breaking crash; I learned that one the hard way...
