@elebertus@mastodon.social I have also heard good things about Authelia, and if you’re brand new I would not recommend Keycloak. It can do a ton but it is dense with configuration.

@cthos@mastodon.cthos.dev I kind of assumed keycloak would be like trying to use kafka for a basic queue. Highly extensible, configurable, etc. A values.yaml likely in the thousands of lines.

@cthos@mastodon.cthos.dev @elebertus@mastodon.social we're just running a keycloak up at work and it's just too many bells and whistles for home - unless identity and auth stuff is specifically your jam
