Yep, also the more folk use it, the more the vast majority realise the claims made for it are largely bullshit.
Suspect economics will also, if not kill it off, at least stop the flood of "put it in everything, you MUST use it" bollocks.
When vendors try to charge what it actually costs, instead of the heavily subsidised, "all you can prompt" smorgasbord it has been, most people stop using it at all.
A lot of orgs pushing us to use it will stop as true costs kick in.

@imalcolm@mastodon.social The bullshit comment resonates hard with me. In my current line of work, I have client after client who take ChatGPT's word for something, take action based on that, and then find out it's bullshit.
