And of course, one never knows if some math developed for Bohmian mechanics might turn out useful for something completely different.

@androcat@toot.cat Yes, and as for String Theory, it's unfortunate that it didn't get the job done for physics, but I'm under the impression that it developed a certain amount of mathematics, anyway. (That pesky problem of describing way too many possible universes, rather than just ours.) @internic@mathstodon.xyz @davidsuculum@mathstodon.xyz
