@cassidy@mastodon.blaede.family Apple Messages *does* have end-to-end encryption but only if you enable Advanced Data Protection and the other parties in the conversation have it enabled too.
Signal, though, just does the thing.

@MisuseCase@twit.social @cassidy@mastodon.blaede.family remember that certain countries (*cough* UK *cough*) don't permit Advanced Data Protection, so that's not an option for everyone, depending who you might be sending information to.
