  The beauty of the UK system in comparison with USA is that there's plenty of parties to choose from, so you can usually vote with your conscience. So not voting, you may as well be unconscious. In most recent elections more people didn't vote than voted for the winning candidate, so get out, get your friends out, and vote

  The Pope calling out Trump for "a Christian country" not behaving in a Christian way is a perfect demonstration of why binding Israel to Jewishness is a threat to Jews everywhere. If every Christian was judged by the actions of MAGA, no-one would trust Christians and may feel compelled to expel them, although we all know there are Christians who vehemently oppose the cult of MAGA and believe instead in embracing humanity.

  I've got this idea for deterministic agents that run in the command line. Like you could have a dog that would fetch and read a file for you, a regular expression parser called rep that could find things in the file, and then if you want to count the number of rs it found you could use an rc (r count) agent. And then you can connect them together using a Modular CLI Pipe | What do you think? Can I get some VC funding for this if I call it agentic?

  I remember the days when a dumb terminal needed to connect to the network to function, whilst a smart computer could do everything locally. Nowadays a smart fridge needs an internet connection and a dumb fridge can do everything locally.

We in the UK know what a Thatcher government did for feminism, LGBTQ+ rights and others, so there's definitely fewer US-style liberals here. Just as many Fascists though 🤬
