@randomgeek@masto.hackers.town oh, hi. I’m now at the point where I’ll just actively avoid media revolving around embarrassment humor, it makes me so thoroughly uncomfortable.
Naturally the Germans have a word for it!

@bitprophet@social.coop Thanks I hate it. I have avoided embarrassment humor for decades now. Jeez I still remember squirming in my seat at "Meet the Parents" while most of the audience was just roaring with laughter. Happy for them I guess, but my every nerve wanted to get away.
