I have avoided embarrassment humor for decades now. Jeez I still remember squirming in my seat at "Meet the Parents" while most of the audience was just roaring with laughter. Happy for them I guess, but my every nerve wanted to get away.

@randomgeek@masto.hackers.town yea it’s always made me feel bad, I think it’s just that the last ehhh decade? I’ve actually given myself permission to nope out of things instead of feeling obligated. Family get together and they want to watch cringe humor movie? I’ll be in my room then.
