Sadly we don't have much for pedestrianized main streets - honestly Calgary probably has us beat on that one, with more main streets and cool little neighbourhood centres.
That said, Whyte Ave is often considered one of the best main street districts in Canada, so definitely check it out.

@ShanonRose@mstdn.ca As for cycling, it's hard to beat our river valley. You'll definitely want to get down there to ride. Lots of paved trails, some rugged trails, and lots of singletrack if you're into that. Up and down Mill Creek is really pleasant too. Lots of hiking in the valley too, though I'd suggest Whitemud Park and Mactaggert Sanctuary provide more interesting hiking.
