As for cycling, it's hard to beat our river valley. You'll definitely want to get down there to ride. Lots of paved trails, some rugged trails, and lots of singletrack if you're into that. Up and down Mill Creek is really pleasant too.
Lots of hiking in the valley too, though I'd suggest Whitemud Park and Mactaggert Sanctuary provide more interesting hiking.

@ShanonRose@mstdn.ca As @EllenInEdmonton@mstdn.ca mentioned, Fringe is a great time to come. Whyte gets buzzing, and the shows are usually really good and worth seeing.
