@sushee@ohai.social Like, my big desktop PC doesn't even have a graphics card, just the integrated GPU, though I'm considering adding one just for FFXIV.
That Kate editor does look really nice, thanks for the tip, I will def check that out, because Bluefish is kinda meh.

@gcvsa@mstdn.plus If you need it more programming/IDE-ish editor: VSCode runs on any Linux I've tried. I USED to (have to) care for the graphics card but these days it doesn't really matter anymore with Linux so whatever onboard Intel is in one of my laptops is what I use. from what I can tell GPU support under Linux is working quite well judging by local LLM usage support but gaming is still a different beast afaik. But I'm not an expert in either of those two areas of tech.
