@gcvsa@mstdn.plus If you need it more programming/IDE-ish editor: VSCode runs on any Linux I've tried.
I USED to (have to) care for the graphics card but these days it doesn't really matter anymore with Linux so whatever onboard Intel is in one of my laptops is what I use.
from what I can tell GPU support under Linux is working quite well judging by local LLM usage support but gaming is still a different beast afaik. But I'm not an expert in either of those two areas of tech.

@sushee@ohai.social The integrated GPU in my 2025 Dell laptop with a Core 7 150U is actually about 50% faster than the one in my 2022 custom-built desktop PC with a Core i5-12600K (UHD 770).
