@gcvsa@mstdn.plus then strip mint down but this is a pretty "luxurious" distribution so it might not be as easy as with others. there is a minimal, container oriented debian too which I'm pretty sure can be build upwards with GUI components to your liking. Good graphical editor in the sense of code/IDE or "in general" or "best internationalization" or..? My collection is browser, libreoffice, gimp, inkscape and then a PDF viewer and an image viewer which is fast enough. Nothing to write home about :)

    @sushee@ohai.social I use text editors mainly for manipulating large bodies of text pulled from disparate sources that need drastic levels of cleanup so they can be pasted into other applications, like quoting from old scanned books. BB Edit is my gold standard, but it's Mac only, so on Windows I use Notepad++ or Bluefish, and on Linux, just Bluefish.
