@jeffowski@mastodon.world So involuntary commitment to institutions either not run by doctors or by doctors who have/will have lost their licence eventually where your genitals are connected to electrical lines set to shock you if you say/do something they don't like, even if it's involuntary? So being asked as a prepubescent child how you masterbate by grown, usually male, adults in order to receive a medication that slows a potentially lethal ailment instead of actually curing it, and still potentially being denied if they don't like how you're dressed or how you answer equally invasive questions? So belonging to one of the only groups who weren't actually liberated from the camps during the literal Holocaust? So being accused of following a trend affirming this is who you are despite all of that when you've had feelings about this since you ever had the ability to speak complete sentences but not knowing how to articulate it until longer or even realise that's what those feelings are? So being told you're being dramatic when you flee a country contemplating revoking the passports of every person who is a citizen of that country and belongs to the same group as you? I feel like they'd all shut the fuck up real quick.
