  Huh. The internet seems to have absolutely no findable record of these DVDs of old cartoons I got WAY back in the day, in bargin bins, nor the titles of the shorts on them. Cheap DVDs... that aren't going to last forever... Yeah, I think I'll get these up on Archieve in case they are in fact entirely not anywhere. Soo... what's the etiquette? Do I just rip the big hour long video and stiick it up there with the info I have, or do I need to take it in to an editor and break it in to...

  I got tired of emailing a company every day insisting they respond, so I set up a Home Assistant automation to do it. lol. I'll just leave that automation on till they respond. I used a few {{["One way to say it", "Another way to say it.", "another wording!"] | random}} to change it up, used a time trigger, ticked off business days, and voilà. #HomeAssistant

  It's too bad Google is so damn evil. There's LOADS of integrations in #HomeAssistant for their services. I want to be against it but... anything to bring average people in to foss is likely a good thing. They can figure out they need to abandon Google after they see foss software isn't always crap.

  Wait... this entire time, I could put pngs in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/ and they'll appear in "Applications" when picking an icon?!?! FFS!   I'm noticing more and more web pages aren't working in @librewolf@chaos.social. I don't think for a second this is something wrong with #LibreWolf. I'm certain it's that more and more web sites aren't working with tracking bullshit blocked. IE - The privacy thing isn't broken, it's just working exactly as it's supposed to. The web is broken.

  One thing that sucks about using xmas lights for sensory friendly lighting... A bulb died. I can't find replacements. Quite a while later, another, and now the voltage has risen enough the other bulbs are dropping like flies. That voltage increase has also made the 60hz noticable. I'mma need a new set. I want to find a black wire set anyway.

  Lightning flash, loud clap, lights went wonky... and 2 of my installed zigbee switches, which I bought recently, are fried. They won't even respond to pressing the button on the module, no LED, nothing. Home Assistant hasn't realized they're dead yet, but does report an error if I tell it to turn them on. Well, that fucking sucks.

  I wonder how long till someone with the desire to do such things figures out how trivially easy it would be to rig up a bomb with Home Assistant. They don't even need to know how to make an ESP Home device, it could be done with a Zigbee relay, an electric match, and some explosives. When target person is home, and motion or presence near bomb, turn on switch.boom. Put the #HomeAssistant server with the bomb and the logs destroy themselves.

  If you are #ADHD or #AuDHD with a pet... A cat water fountain not only makes the water more enticing, you can get one that blinks or changes light color when it's out of water. I'm forgetful AF, and this has really improved my cat's consistant access to water. Also, the little pump is sensitive to grime and will stop fountaining. It may seem like an annoyance to most people, but it's an easy visual reminder to clean it long before it's visibly gross.

  You know what really grinds my gears... When a company releases a new version of something, under the exact same name and model number, and therefor I can never again find the correct instruction manual for it! This smart device is useless because all versions of the manual I can find say to press and hold the sun icon. Well MINE does not have a sun icon.

  Web search being damn near useless these days, I can't even figure out if the thing I want exists. My car doesn't have bluetooth, nor does it have aux. Yes, I know, the stereo is shit, I agree. I have a bluetooth to FM adapter, but it sucks. I have to pair it every time I use it, else it sounds all choppy. I want something that's USB C audio to FM, preferably that can also charge the phone. Does this thing exist?
