@mwichary@mastodon.online This is a bit of a tangent, but do you happen to know if those pantographic cutters had the ability to make text oblique, or if that required a separate letter set? I can kind of imagine how it might work.

@adamrice@c.im I don’t know! I do not remember seeing italic sets, but I also do not remember seeing italic Gorton much. (Outside of Rotling, Leroy, etc.) Maybe @jesse@metasocial.com knows?
