Well, it looks like Instapaper cutting off sending articles to Kindle in a free account is finally going to push me to jailbreaking my old Kindle. I&#39;&#39;m looking at self-hosted @wallabag and KOreader to replace my offline reading of longer articles that has been broken since February.

@wallabag@fosstodon.org OK, a bunch of fiddling later, and I have a local wallabag server running and a jailbroken Kindle running KOreader that can pull articles down from it. We'll see how it works! At least I've got a way to get things from a browser to my kindle again. I'm also interested in getting my non-DRM e-books synced to KOreader. It will be nice to have a wireless way to get new @standardebooks@mastodon.social titles onto the Kindle.
