@VE2UWY@mastodon.radio And arrive on time? Yeah, that would be nice. Back when my dad was young out in Manitoba, you could take a train and get off in any small town. Shit, Winnipeg had electric trains at one time. Now that Greyhound is gone, there's nothing.

@mcourcel@allovertheplace.ca No need to go back that far - just find timetables from before the 1990 & 1981 massacres and you'll be shocked at where you could go by train. And not just east of Sarnia!
