@onepict@chaos.social The closest there is in Firefox for Android in Firefox Translate. You can turn this off from the Settings menu under Translations.

@plwt@mstdn.social I'm honestly on the fence about AI translation and accessibility aids. But the thing that stops me are the environmental and social fabric costs. Like for language translation I do feel that whenever possible more investment needs to be put into the language community, you have a community of folks who study multiple languages and they'd love to be financed to do what they love. Ultimately it is up to the end user of the browser. They also need to understand what's being provided.
