@samsethi@podcastindex.social well no i was using fountain for this. and neither podcasting 2.0 or podnews are hosted on truefans right. i tried listening live to 2.0 on truefans but i realised i didnt have sats on it anymore. but i couldnt charge sats onto it. so i tried boosting with fountain.

@samsethi@podcastindex.social genuine main reason why i stopped using truefans. part of it was i found the layout really confusing. it always felt i couldn't just see newest episodes. but that was ok. the big reason was, i walk around listening with airpods on iphone. with the app store version of truefans. press the airpods to pause the podcast because i need to think or someone talks to me. and then press them again to unpause and it never ever does. it works if you pause and unpause within couple seconds.

@silas@podcastindex.social why do we need to host the podcasts? They are both self hosted. I accept we are far from perfect but we now going back to refactor all our APIs for performance while still adding new features like audio/video hosting etc
