@samsethi@podcastindex.social genuine main reason why i stopped using truefans. part of it was i found the layout really confusing. it always felt i couldn't just see newest episodes. but that was ok.
the big reason was, i walk around listening with airpods on iphone. with the app store version of truefans. press the airpods to pause the podcast because i need to think or someone talks to me.
and then press them again to unpause and it never ever does. it works if you pause and unpause within couple seconds.

@samsethi@podcastindex.social the pause and unpause buttons in that media player on the lockscreen would also not work. so i would have to unlock the phone and then it would either start playing again on its own. or need to press the button and wait for it to buffer again. that was my dealbreaker. and im so sad because of it. i really wanted to like it
