@cdarwin@c.im 10 min The guy who did wealth inequality in America about a decade ago has been producing updates over the last month or so. The most recent upload of his is quite relevant to the tax in California which, by the way, I would love to see become permanent. The other interesting tidbit in here is the $30 million level of net worth the really beyond which nobody Could ever really need https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AmzadQE9UD4&pp=ygUcd2VhbHRoIGluZXF1YWxpdHkgaW4gYW1lcmljYQ%3D%3D

@cdarwin@c.im It is important for CA voters to know that (of course) the billionaires funded Prop 41 and Prop 42 to stop Prop 40 from being implemented. So vote Yes on Prop 40, but also NO on Props 41 and 42. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wY3h8w9a2Q #USpol #California #Elections #TaxTheRich

@cdarwin@c.im Seems to me that what is needed here is to kickstart a movement that spreads to more years. California will still need money to fund healthcare next year. They need some kind of on-going tax. I'm surprised that these economists didn't even mention this issue.
