I did it! Almost had the last row finished last night, but it was bedtime so I did the last few stitches this morning instead. Now just to wait for it to dry from this half-hearted pre-blocking, seam the front and back panels together, add a border round the bottom, realise it's indecently short and add more border again, block it properly, weave in all the ends, and hope like hell the blue slip I've ordered to go under it fits because that was surprisingly hard to find on the modern internet.
