Maybe I can live with the bust and sleeves as is (I would like it more fitted but I don’t want to restart it) and just tighten it up under the arms? Ugh but it looks baggy. Or I can restart but the first 1/3 of it was just really tedious Or I can try shrinking it. Or I can give up on knitting forever 😂

@Bronwyn@sfba.social That looks perfect for hanging around the house, I dunno. I might wear it just like that with a high waisted skirt on a day like today. 😄

@Bronwyn@sfba.social i think it looks fine as it is; when it’s longer, its own weight will pull it down a bit, too

@Bronwyn@sfba.social It seems to me that the real problem is with the wide chest opening. Maybe add a contrasting placket (not sure that’s the right word) that pulls the sides closer together.

@Bronwyn@sfba.social Controlled shrinking is a gamble. Do you still have a gauge swatch? You could do a test run with that. Or another idea: Rib back to the part where you separate for the sleeves or maybe a few rows of the yoke to the point where you have the width you want and then work down from there. The deep v neck can be tightened a bit with the neckband - pick up sts as suggested and then decrease some during the first round.
