It is too bad, as they seemed like the best players in the space we had.
Question remains for me then... Where to now? What hardware company embodies what framework did, without the dark side?

@codemonkeymike@fosstodon.org @tommi@pan.rent ThinkPads are very repairable with their FRUs and exploded diagrams and detailed hardware manuals. If Lenovo are problematic (and they might well be, I don't actually know), there is so much second hand hardware floating around, you can have a good machine without paying them anything.
