Yes, our town libraries are privately owned =\ so that's a whole thing. But I have a county library card as well and it's a large wealthy county so I feel like it should offer more of these.

@ShadesofRaye@mastodon.social If you are in U.S., you might like an out-of-area card for digital only from a big library system. Many dropped that option last year (I had Houston PL for 2 years) but Queens still offers.
