Just for relevant sociological interest. I know someone who definitely grew up in an upper-class family. One day Dominos pizza came to their house with like a big award and camera crew because his parents had fed the family Dominos Pizza literally every single day that year, and they had bought the most Dominos pizza of anyone in their state.
I consider this neglect and abuse, and I think he does too now that he's been through enough therapy.

@revoluciana@chaosfem.tw Knowing how to cook is a really important skill because it lets you save money and improve your health and well being yourself. You're creating value directly, and literally eating it. There's no taxes on what you produce, there's relatively few middlemen, there's no limited selection, etc. Of course, it takes both time, skills, and energy including mental energy. If one family member is providing only breakfast and dinner for a family of 4, and you want to substitute eating out..
