I'm partial to old German station wagons, especially lost cause ones. The Mercedes wagon needs some love.
Not long after we moved to Vallejo, we took a drive along Grizzly Peak Blvd., exploring those neighborhoods above Berkeley, omg just one stunning bay view after another!
Have you ever gone over to Alameda and driven around the older cottage-y neighborhoods? There's some amazing carspotting there.

@donaldham@mstdn.social oh, yes, we're in Alameda all the time. I got all of the pictures below there on the same day, back in 2016; the Nash and Mercedes were on the same block (there was also a Volvo 1800 back on a driveway on the same street). The owner of the Lancia had a couple that seemed to take turns spending time on the street. The Lancias and the Nash are all gone now, but there's still lots of fascinating stuff to be seen there on any given day.
