AW have rescanned them but there is weird banding instead of weird water marks on some! Is this just how ECN2 in C41 goes?

Just to update this. AW have refunded half the processing costs as they admit that the roll wasn't developed properly. So that's a fail on both counts. Scanning and development. Not great from AW really. They do need to get their lab and QC a lot better. They are a poster child for a lot of the film community so cocking up dev and scan could put off newbies that think it's their failure that caused an issue rather than the lab having made a mistake and not actually noticed.
