Just to update this. AW have refunded half the processing costs as they admit that the roll wasn't developed properly. So that's a fail on both counts. Scanning and development. Not great from AW really. They do need to get their lab and QC a lot better. They are a poster child for a lot of the film community so cocking up dev and scan could put off newbies that think it's their failure that caused an issue rather than the lab having made a mistake and not actually noticed.
