@wojtek@social.vivaldi.net yeah it was pretty great, until being immutable becomes annoying. When installing, it asks you if you want to launch to desktop or big picture mode. i set her up with big picture mode (she already daily drives a steamdeck, made sense at the time) but now she's decided she wants the PC to launch into desktop, and, well... it's immutable, so it's more complicated than it needs to be. i'm sure there is a solve for it out there, i just haven't had the chance to dig into it yet
