E.g. a world where IMAP is king and we all want our email on multiple devices. Many people have found that MailMate is a reasonable heir to Eudora on the Mac. Lots of us old-timers pop up on the MailMate Users ML.

@peternlewis@mastodon.social @glennf@zeppelin.flights @sixcolors@zeppelin.flights I miss Eudora, but to be honest I never liked the multi-window layout and was low-key jealous that my friends had a version of Eudora on their PC that was a single window. Personally, I miss Claris Emailer 2 and Sparrow in that order. Claris Emailer was the email app from my first Big Boy Job™ and Sparrow had the cleanest, most "get out of my way-est" interface I've ever seen.
