@quietewe@urbanists.social @titania@retro.pizza This is precisely my point, though. You know nothing, that's fine, we all start at 0! Every single day I have to learn new things. But you have been terrified into not learning, into being completely incapable, by horrible analogies like "you will die if you make your own drugs", or "it'll consume the rest of your life". You won't die. It's not that hard; you won't have an *easy* time of it, but I assure you if you can read & write coherently, you're smart enough.

    @mdhughes@appdot.net When I read the posts you're replying to, it doesn't come across as someone who's "terrified into not learning" or "being completely incapable" or needing to be reassured that they are "smart enough" to learn something new. Rather, they are trying to communicate something specific, of which I see no sign of recognition or acknowledgement in your responses.
