I feel like the more I up-play my extremely conventionally sexually and romantically unattractive traits IRL, the more I get niche crowd particularly interested in me. This is giving me identity crisis but also weirdly aroace validating about how unintuitive all of these are.

I hate the "born this way" as the only correct way to look at sexual orientations, it just feels like pleading not guilty for something that should never be a crime to start with. I also can't really imagine myself anything but born this way. This is despite of spending way too much of my earlier life wanting to be correctly existing as allo-pan, and I still don't write off being in a domestic relationship; I just don't think I will ever be on the same wavelength with an allo and vice versa.
