Continue pushing. Also keep track of Molly, you dismissed their 'draft' but were unaware of the project. They've actually done the work for a number of lapses of Signal, they have a track record of delivering. If it's on the list, it will happen, probably before Signal themselves.

No-one is forcing you to use signal. If it doesn’t suit your needs or your risk profile you can.. just not use it. That’s ok. This has blown into something out of proportion and you’re actively looking for reasons to be argumentative. Signal isn’t for you - that’s ok. Choice is good.
