@yantar92@fosstodon.org I think so too, moving my little finger a key left throws my hand off kilter. I guess it is possible and maybe historical (though wasn't it escape?). @paniash@mstdn.social @tarsius@fosstodon.org @minad@mastodon.world @oantolin@mathstodon.xyz

@yantar92@fosstodon.org @screwlisp@gamerplus.org @tarsius@fosstodon.org @minad@mastodon.world @oantolin@mathstodon.xyz I prefer to use home row keys (to me it feels more ergonomic). C-x I tried initially but then I could feel some strain on my pinky.

Myself, I have firmly belonged to the school of "Control's place is in the third row from bottom" for many years. However, since I often have my left hand busy, I also map Pause to the whole C-x keymap. I also map F12 to `exchange-point-and-mark' (C-x C-x) and practice some other heresies as well. #Emacs #KeyBindings @paniash@mstdn.social @screwlisp@gamerplus.org @tarsius@fosstodon.org @minad@mastodon.world @oantolin@mathstodon.xyz
