@hukl@chaos.social Not that you asked but before you invest too much time into learning onshape, FreeCAD is a great alternative and it’s OpenSource and runs locally on your machine. I’m always impressed by the maturity of this software, the countless features, all for free.

@gatogatogato@ohai.social I opened FreeCad a couple of times before but haven't warmed up to it yet. Usability wise i liked Shapr3D the best thus far. But now that I understand a bit more about the CAD world I might get along better with FreeCAD
