At my old place I had plant the tulip bulbs under chicken wire in the fall or the squirrels would eat them. Pain in the butt but was only way ...

@OohOkayKay@beige.party The squirrels seem to leave the bulbs alone, but they sure like to snap the heads off the ready-to-open buds. :(
