@babetteknauer@mastodon.social I hope I didn't sound too harsh ... I have a lot of frustrations with this, as I've been at it from many angles, in or adjacent to academia, for more than half a lifetime. I have ideas! Want to help push that lever when I see how it could help! But the frustration gets out in front, too. 😬 Had to bite my tongue again in an introductory seminar last night when my prof said "and you'll be posting your final lightning talk on Instagram" ... no. just no.
