@Cat_LeFey@pagan.plus Actually, now I think of it, I might be technically closer to the Jordan River, but it's not easy to think of that one in a spiritual sense. I remember when I was little having my parents explain to me that the Jordan River in songs was a different one than ours, because the line in Eve Of Destruction that goes "Even the Jordan River's got bodies a-floatin'" sounds odd if you don't know that. In SLC it's actually the first place they send search parties when anyone goes missing because it flows through the less savory parts of town and is bluntly, the most likely place to find a dead body on any given day.
