@mirabilos@toot.mirbsd.org @noam yeah it's interesting how when you get into the details of classifying wetlands or tributaries, it really shows just how connected everything is, with very few hard and fast lines defining them. Says something about the nature of water.

In the city, it’s a bit… easier, but even here there are underground water flows, and old river arms that even if fully sanded and then built atop tend to flood occasionally, and things like that. During the extreme rain a few years ago (search for Ahrtalkatastrophe, that was only about two dozen km away), rain became mud that went downhill and even some roads became rivers for a bit.
