@bragefuglseth@sunny.garden I believe it's a Debian 13 problem specifically with the compose key. The compose key works fine in apps using these runtimes when running on OSes using newer GNOME versions. Why this happens, I have no idea. Very annoying because over the past 6 months my compose key has gradually become more and more useless.

@vtrlx@mastodon.social Thanks for the info! The second reporter uses NixOS with hyprland (🫣), so I think the problem is related to a system/runtime component rather than a specific distribution. But if it's reproducible across Debian systems it should be easier to pinpoint
