@mike@flipboard.social I might be wrong but it looks like they’re posting on their site and then it also sends a post on Threads and BlueSky, rather than be a single post that federates? Shame they picked Threads for the Fediverse portion considering a large amount of instances block that instance. Still, it’s an interesting concept and great to see large publications putting in the effort into something like that.

@mike@flipboard.social There is a serious typo in your diagram. Not every post on the Fediverse network is written using the Mastodon software. The diagram gives a misleading impression of the network. It should say “Fediverse” instead of “Mastodon”.

@mike@flipboard.social This is very cool! and I'll share it. The unfortunate thing about this is I won't see this post because I block threads. It would be neat to be on a separate activitypub server that is not threads.
