-No longer any path-spanning snow or ice patches (on the main/through path, some side paths do have them still).
-Commute is faster and less stressful being away from drivers, despite being ~15% longer.

One note, the new underpass at Churchill was starting to flood yesterday afternoon. I *hate* that new active transportation infrastructure seems built to flood. I imagine the Cleary underpass, whenever it opens, will also have that issue.

@dairpo@ottawa.place I’m planning my first bike commute of the year in the coming weeks, but Rideau River eastern path is always late to lose the snow in the forested stretches.
