@Irisfreundin@troet.cafe I feel you. And I Have plenty of your stuff as weeds in mine. I don't understand why people insist on plants from the wrong part of the world. It's not like there aren't good native options.
Our suburbs are filled with European trees which add little/no value to our ecosystem, and then when we are across the pond we see all of our trees there.
I understand the... Unfortunate situation with Germany having forests of American trees 😐

@User47@vmst.io You misunderstood me. Columbine is native to Europe, it sows itself and covers the hole garden if I do not tear them our where I want to plant something else. We have here the problem with foreign decorative Juniper. Unlike the native variety, it serves as an intermediate host for pear rust, and all pear trees become infected.
