Why am I like this???!!!

Mess something benign up (can happen to anyone): ok, make arrangements to get it rectified. Important following appointment: I’m on time at the wrong location. => melts down crying like an icecream on asphalt. I can’t anymore, it’s been like this my whole life and I have to just watch how the people around me constantly have to help out. And it makes me feel horrible. I take meds and it does help, but every once in a while I’m hit with a couple of days where I’m getting smacked around like a ragdoll visiting the Grand Canyon vertically. (Or a piniata, because that’s the picture I found).

Have you tried blood pressure meds? Propranolol?

I’m on time at the wrong location God I hate when that happens. Re: just the appt stuff - I rely heavily on my phone’s calendar. Years ago, I adopted the mindset of “if it’s not in the calendar, it doesn’t exist”, so any time I need to make a followup appt, I make sure to stop at the front desk with my phone out and do not leave until I have the date, time, and location marked in the calendar. It takes a bit of upfront effort to get the habit going, but it’s been hugely beneficial for me and my family overall.
