@thecrushedviolet@mstdn.games when I learned about the soap thing, I thought “oh that explains why this is on so many tasty dishes but is awful and overpowering.” So I figured I must have the gene.
Over time, I have come to really like the flavor of cilantro. It is really strong and unique, but I probably wouldn’t say “soapy” anymore.
Also what does soap taste like? Wouldn’t soap be kind of a blank canvas and any flavors or smells are added in?
